Entries to Paint Your Wagon/Wagon Load Challenge 2026.
Mike Bennett. A laser cut N Gauge Society kit of a GWR Macaw well wagon and match wagons with 114’ RSJ load.

Graham Betts. A 00 LMS open wagon restored from a collection of smashed models, repainted with some repaired planks and a varied load.

Paul Bowen. An etched brass and wood Atropos 16mm scale Penrhyn Railway iron framed slate wagon with load of slate.

Andy Butler. A 00 Pendon Museum limited edition coal wagon of Andy’s namesake coal merchant from Henley.

Neal Cooper. Two BR 0 gauge well wagons with loads; a Weltrol and a Flatrol.

Nick Coppin. An 0 gauge Parkside kit of a BR Pipe wagon with a load in a crate.

Chris Cox. A group of EM gauge London and Birmingham Railway wagons from 1839 with removable loads lifted out with a magnet.

Graham Dale. An 0 gauge Slaters LMS open wagon with load of RSJs and P4 Slaters open with scribed lead floor to add weight.

Roger Grizzell. An 0 gauge Slaters Midland Railway open with load of loco wheels from an LNWR Coal Tank.

Phil Hamson. A 16mm scale laser cut kit of an open wagon.

Vernon Larcombe. An N gauge Society well wagon with tricky to apply transfers!

Howard Mainwaring. A scratch-built 0 gauge GWR shunter’s wagon with coal and other loads.

Trevor Oakley. A splendid diorama with graffitied Bachmann wagons including a Buxton limestone wagon and a Railtrack 3 compartment wagon.

Ian Perrin. 4 00 gauge open wagons with Scale Model Scenery crate, sand and beer barrel loads. A fibreglass pencil was used to abrade the lettering.

Sam Ryan. Two 009 cattle wagons with (well hidden) cows inside.

Phil Scoggins. Two 00 wagons, one a Dapol lowmac modified to a Shropshire and Montgomery wagon from the GER with a traction engine load. The other has an 0-4-0 saddle tank load.

Jim Teague. For his proposed outdoor 0 gauge line, a Lima tank wagon with a beer bottle on it!

Andrew Vaughan. One of his Severn Models Ration wagons in 16mm scale with a Simplex engine as the load. It was inspired by a photo from the Great War.
