We had a busy time last evening with our 'mini Exhibition'. 

 

Thanks to Sam turning up very early, the tables and chairs were set out ready for putting up the layouts.  We had visitors from the Telford Railway Modellers as well as the Craven Arms and District Model Railway Circle.

The layouts attending were:
Dave Gotliffe, Z gauge Swiss layout
Graham Betts, a section of N gauge American layout.
Chris Cox, the first baseboard of Bricklayers Arms c.1845.
Mike Wakefield, 009 gauge layout.
Ian Payne, one of the late Frank Lax's N gauge layouts
Phill Yeend, 0 gauge Tram layout
Nick Coppin, part-built 0 gauge layout
Trevor Oakley, 00 diesel MPD

Dave Angell, continental layout

Sam Ryan, 009 layout.

 

There were also displays from:
Andrew Vaughan, display of 16mm to the foot WDLR stock
Peter Cox, display of H0 US rolling stock
Phil Rowe, 0 gauge LMS diesel 10000
Andy Butler brought along two young members of the Craven Arms club with their prize-winning 'Accident on the Line' dioramas.

In addition, Chris Rowlatt was providing a very useful Loco clinic

and Dave York, a 00, EM and N gauge Test track.

 

Sam Ryan provided some delicious Bakewell tarts!

 

Many thanks to all who brought something along.  They all created much interest and discussion.
